Dr Yi Yang, from Hong Kong Chu Hai College, is visiting us for three months (May to August, 2016). He is currently an assistant professor at Department of Civil Engineering at the College. He obtained his PhD on micro-macro mechanisms of non-cohesive granular media from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in June 2015. He is currently working on DEM simulations of partially saturated granular media.
